Wonder Week 2

Hello Kruz Kidz Families,

Upcoming this MONDAY (July 8th) your kiddos will be joining us here at Kruz Kidz! Wonder weeks are different from adventure weeks, so please read this email to ensure your child is ready for camp! This email is for campers coming from July 8th to July 12th!

We are so excited that your kidz will be joining us here at camp very shortly! Here is an email with some information that will help your kidz come prepared for camp, including what to expect and where you will go!


We are located at 2701 Cabrillo College Drive in Aptos, On the Twin Lakes Church Campus.

Specifically, Monday (July 8th) morning:

You will check in at the playground parking lot; there will be balloons and signs directing you! There will be stations with different steps that will include completing medical forms and alternative pick-up forms if they are not yet completed. No worries if they aren't, we will have them printed out and ready for you to fill out! Then you will check in with your camper to see their grade level and meet their counselor! From there, the counselor will direct your camper where to go and where to put their belongings!

Wonder Week:

  • In the morning, there is Wonder Camp from 9:00 am to 12:30 p.m. If your child is doing an afternoon camp, they will eat lunch at 12:30 to 1:00. They will be supervised at all times and after they eat, the playground and field will be open!
  • If your child is just doing, the morning (Wonder Camp), they can get picked up at 12:30, the pick up location is at the picnic benches near the playground!
  • The afternoon camps for Wonder Week 2 are art, basketball, cheer and flag football! These camps end at 4:00 and you can pick them up anytime between 4:00 pm and 4:30. Please remind your child what afternoon camp they signed up for. In the afternoon, they must go to the camp they signed up for. We will remind them and tell them who their counselors are; however, we just want them to be aware before the start of the day.

Check-in and Pick-Up:

  • Check-in will be in the playground parking lot!
  • Check-in starts at 8:45 am and the campers will head inside at 9:15 am to start the day.
  • If you are late to camp, you may come into the 2000 Children Ministry Building lobby and check-in.
  • Pick-up starts at 4:00 and ends at 4:30 if your child is doing an afternoon camp!
  • If your child is JUST going to the Wonder AM camp, pickup will be at 12:30 at the picnic benches near the playground.
  • To ensure, the safety of your child, we require PHOTO ID for pickup. If another adult is picking your child up, please fill out the alternative pick-up form. (There is no exceptions; we will ask you to go back and get your ID).

Listed below is where each afternoon camp pick-up location will be:

1) Art pick-up is at the Playground

2) Basketball pick-up is at the gym

3) Flag Football pick up is at the field

4) Cheer Camp pick up us at the gym.  

Pre-Care/Post Care:

  • We have a lot of working families join us here at Kruz Kidz, and we want to offer you opportunities to drop and pick up campers before and after camp starts!
  • Pre-Care and post-care Care take place inside the gym and that is where you will check-in or check out your camper!
  • Pre-care begins at 7:00 a.m. and runs until 8:45 a.m.
  • Post-care starts at 4:30 p.m.


  • Alternative Pick Up Form
  • Medical Release Form
  • Both forms can be signed on the first day of camp, and if already filled out, there is no need to do it again! We have it filed! ​

Camper Expectations:

  1. Campers will stay within the designated boundaries, No parking lot or Loft Coffee
  2. Campers will leave all technology devices at home
  3. Campers will not share food with peers
  4. Campers will show respect to peers, staff, and counselors
  5. Campers will have only positive words and actions that uplift each other.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

We understand that plans can change, so we offer the option for registrants to self-cancel and receive a refund directly to their original payment method. If you cancel within 48 hours after your purchase, you will receive a full refund to your credit balance. If you cancel up to 30 days before the session start date, there will be a cancellation fee of $25.00 per session. For cancellations made up to 14 days before the session start date, a cancellation fee of 50% of the registration cost will apply. No refunds are available for cancellations made less than 14 days before the session start date. We hope this policy helps you plan with flexibility and confidence.


  1. Need to pick up your child in the middle of the day? Head into the 2000 Children Ministry Building, remember to bring your ID. We will radio your child to come into the office to get picked up!
  2. Questions when you arrive or pick up? Our counselors will be focusing on all campers during check-in and out, so please head into the 2000 Children's Ministry Building for any questions specific to your child and/ or registration!
  3. What should I bring to camp?
  • Water bottle
  • Snack/Lunch
  • Sweatshirt
  • Close-toed Shoes

I, Emerson Palmquist, will be in the office Monday–Wednesday, 8:30–4:30. My office is in the 2000 Children's Ministry Building. Please stop in anytime to ask questions! On Thursday & Friday, a director will be in the office to assist you! It is my goal this summer to help you and your child feel safe and educated about what is going on at Kruz Kidz. See you Monday!
